The 2024 Victoria Wine Festival is pleased to announce respected wine writer and judge, Treve Ring, to SPEAK at this year’s event

Treve Ring is well-known in the wine community as a wine writer and editor, judge and speaker, and perpetual traveler. A certified sommelier, WSET diploma holder, French wine scholar, instructor, and Sherry instructor, Treve is based in Victoria, though is most often found on a plane or in a vineyard.

She is an editor at Gismondi on Wine and regularly contributes to publications like Decanter, Wine Enthusiast, and Meininger’s Wine Business International. She has additionally been featured in Wineanorak, Vancouver Sun, Montecristo Magazine, Wine & Spirits Magazine, Wine Align, EAT Magazine, Quench Magazine, Menu Magazine, and Sip Magazine. Treve is also a judge for the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA), where her expertise in wines, particularly from Canada and other cool-climate regions, is highly valued.
