This year, Rioja reaffirms its place as Spain’s leading wine region, earning an incredible 773 international recognitions in June alone — more than any other Spanish Designation of Origin. Award Highlights:

• Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) 2025: Rioja was the most awarded Spanish region, winning 430 accolades — nearly a quarter of Spain’s total.
• Concours Mondial de Bruxelles: Rioja took home 73 medals, including 3 Grand Golds and 28 Golds, proving its global reputation for excellence.
• Club Oenologique Rioja Report 2025: Two Rioja wines scored an outstanding 99 points, the only Spanish wines to reach this level. In total, 270 Rioja wines scored over 90 points, reflecting the region’s extraordinary diversity.
