To mark its centennial as a Designation of Origin, the Regulatory Council of DOCa Rioja will host a very special celebration in New York City on May 15 at Lavan Chelsea. The event will bring together influential personalities from the wine, cultural, and media sectors, including members of Robb Report’s prestigious RR1 circle.

In addition to representatives from the Regulatory Council, the event will be attended by Marta de Blas Mayordomo, Consul General of Spain, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Enterprise, and other distinguished guests.

Throughout the evening, guests will experience the culture of Rioja through a multisensory journey featuring visual projections, artworks brought directly from the region, an exclusive selection of 17 wines, and top-tier culinary pairings. Participating wineries will be organized by their founding year, offering attendees a historical tour through Rioja’s winemaking styles and evolution.
